East Region Schutzhund Events
June 24-26th, 2011
East Coast Working Dog Club - Schutzhund Dog Working Weekend
Now that the Eastern Regional Championship trial is behind us, I want to invite everyone to the working weekend at my schutzhund field on 24-26 June 2011.The field will open for training at mid day on Friday and I will arrange a tracking caravan for late day Friday for those who need assistance with tracking through out the weekend. This should be an excellent opportunity for anyone preparing for the PEI trial in mid July. I am planning for long days of training so that everyone will have ample training assistance as well as an opportunity to enjoy one of the provinces premier summer destinations. I look forward to seeing many familiar faces and some new ones.

An RSVP is not necessary but would be appreciated to give me some idea of the number of people to expect.

Time: 5pm
A special by-law change meeting will commence at 5pm at the ARPAD. Immediately following that the AGM will commence at the same location.(Please note ARPAD is the same location as the show and parts "B" and "C" are to take place)
LOGO CONTEST
With the reorganization of the region in late 2010, we thought a new look would also be welcome. Wayne McWhinney & Rachel Haslett are looking at getting clothing for our region members and for East members competing at Nationals. Put your pens to paper and forward your ideas to rachel.haslett@gmail.com. Submissions accepted until June 30th, 2011. Ideas towards regional colors (clothing) and item styles are also welcome until June 30th.
